Job Description:
In this role, you will own the development and delivery of our data pipelines and solutions. You will participate in various stages of the product development lifecycle, including requirements elaboration, technical design, and development, as well as quality assurance and testing. You are expected to equally distribute your time between hands-on development and deployment activities, technical enablement of your team, as well as project planning and administrative activities.
In Particular, You Will:
Design, develop, and document data solutions and products in collaboration with various stakeholders
Enable your team through technical mentorship, development oversight and assistance, and optimal task delegation
Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve existing data products and solutions
Collaborate with and support other Enterprise Data & Analytics team members with requests pertaining to Data Engineering and Data Development
What will you need to succeed?
- Undergraduate degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.
- Experience with ETL, ELT, and reverse ETL
- Proficiency and in-depth understanding of best practices pertaining to the design and development of Data & Analytics products and solutions.
- Extensive hands-on development experience in Data Engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to capture and convey information to a variety of audiences through documentation or presentations.
- Experience with the Google cloud platform environment and data-related services (e.g., Dataflow, Dataproc, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, PubSub).
Nice to Have:
- Graduate degree in a technical field with specialization in Analytics, Data Science, or a related subject.
- Experience with MongoDB and Kubernetes
