The Fraud Technology Solutions team, part of Canadian Banking and Corporate Technology (CBCT) is responsible for protecting the Bank, customers and employees by delivering and supporting technology to analyze detect and prevent transactional fraud against TD customers and critical TD technology assets.

What We Stand For: Fraud Technology Solutions is continuously evolving to mitigate fraud risk to the Bank, including introducing new initiatives in support of advancing TD’s data analytics strategy to predict and prevent fraud.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access);

  • Self-starter with a high initiative and the ability to learn and adapt quickly;
  • Possess a good understanding of TD’s organizational structure, businesses and operational footprint globally;
  • A willingness to speak up and offer a differing opinion when your gut tells you an idea is wrong – but also have the forethought to be part of the solution by recommending an alternate option; and
  • Apply good judgment by understanding which issues to escalate, what to resolve independently, and provide suggestions for possible resolution.

Job Description

The Senior IT Operations Analyst reports to the Senior Manager, IT Operations to manage the administration and application lifecycle management requirements for the technology applications supporting Fraud operations across TD.

We need a self-motivated, disciplined individual with excellent organizational and time management skills to take charge and manage the myriad demands of the Technology Asset Owner (TAO) for Fraud Technology Solutions.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Participation in Problem Management post-incident review and development of required remediation plans;
  • Represent Fraud TS operations in all Tech Risk and Control Gap assessments (new and refresh);
  • Work with Fraud TS technology delivery teams to develop and maintain control design documentation to support incident and problem management;
  • Maintain Application Book of Record (ABOR) and EUC Book of Record (EBOR) data records;
  • Review and approve all change records for application and system changes within the Fraud TS portfolio;
  • Manage attestations and compliance for Fraud TS applications including annual compliance, System configuration, DIAMOND access, licensing, technology and security compliance, and asset inventory;
  • Work with Fraud TS Domain leads and Business Application Owners to manage application and technology lifecycle activities;
  • Manage sourcing of vendors with Strategic Sourcing Group, Vendor Management, and Third-Party Cyber Risk Management (3PCRM) to manage the relationship throughout the lifecycle of the application;
  • Keep abreast of and forecast for application currency issues and ensure currency work is included in BAU budgets and planning;
  • Document and maintain exit strategies and contingency plans for all applications in your portfolio;
  • Work with the Service Resiliency team to establish and monitor availability, performance and capacity baselines;
  • Manage data retention for applications in accordance with business and TD retention policies;
  • Manage Disaster Recovery plans and schedule annualized disaster and data recovery testing;
  • Maintain evidence of process and security controls design, implementation, and effectiveness;
  • Management of all Technology Risk, Audit, and Regulatory findings associated with the respective Fraud applications and system environments;
  • Ensure security and controls assessments are incorporated into BAU budgets and planning;
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality is maintained and service expectations of data owners are fulfilled; and
  • Certificate management.
