Are you looking for a role where you can be involved in developing and executing operational excellence? Reporting to Director, Distribution Services, you will serve as a functional leader responsible for driving operational excellence and creating a sustainable supply chain integration of the 3PL facility operation. You will ensure continuous support from the LCBO to the 3PL facility operator and will troubleshoot situations that require facilitation between the LCBO and 3PL facility operator, including but not limited to problem area management, volume forecasting, transportation management, customer escalations, contract management and system error handing.

About the Role

Manage support functions within the LCBO required for proper operation of the 3PL facility operator including analytics, system troubleshooting, order management, problem resolution, customer service, release management, etc.

Drive financial reconciliation and ensure 3PL facility operator executes to expected business case

Establish Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreement for vendors as they relate to distribution services, transportation management and quality assurance requirements

Provide oversight by auditing vendors to ensure KPIs, SOPs and QA requirements are met as per the Service Level Agreement

Act as the liaison between Supply Chain, Agents/others, the 3PL facility operator and transportation vendors for issue resolution, seasonality/special event requirements and continuous improvement initiatives

Manage and drive a high-performance team by developing, coaching, and motivating others

Ensure strict adherence to all LCBO policies and procedures, including workplace health and safety standards, Code of Business Conduct, and adherence to provincial and federal laws

Ensure efficient and effective day-to-day management of the business

Manage financial activities including budget creation and continual monitoring of expenses to ensure adherence to corporate requirements and procurement standards; Ensures operations stay within budget

Assist with the preparation of annual business plan ensuring goals are linked to corporate strategies

About You

Post-Secondary education in Supply Chain Management or a related field/industry

3-5 years of Management and related experience in logistic, manufacturing or related field

Ability to work independently with minimal direction, ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task effectively in a multifaceted, fast paced environment

Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated leadership and administrative skills to manage a small work group.

Sound communication, interpersonal and consulting skills are essential

Exceptional interpersonal, team building and negotiation skills with an emphasis on leadership

Demonstrated competence using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access)

Ability to travel throughout Ontario
