Job Description

What you get to do in this role:

The Senior Manager – Finance is a critical leadership role responsible for sophisticated financial analysis including potential strategic investments, acquisitions and partnerships, and other ad hoc analyses.

The role reports to the Senior Director – Planning, and works with a broad cross functional team, including Product management, corporate development, corporate strategy and strategic alliances. It requires significant interaction with senior business and finance management, and as such, requires a person who clearly demonstrates the ability to lead, communicate and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic finance lead on strategic projects including, but not limited to mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and alliances and other special projects.
• Work closely with members of the corporate finance team to ensure understanding of impacts to the company’s current operating plan and long term strategic plan.
• Support Business teams to structure, negotiate and execute on strategic partnerships and other ad hoc projects requiring rigorous financial analysis
• Develop a “Playbook” for strategic finance involvement in these projects

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8+ years of financial analysis experience in an investment bank, investment firm, corporate finance function of a major corporation or similar organization (4+ years post MBA)
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives to tactical execution connected and measured through planning processes
• Deep understanding of corporate finance, financial accounting and financial analysis
• Substantial experience with sophisticated financial modeling
• High-level understanding of the various functions within the organization that drive the execution of the strategic plan
• Strategic mind-sight with demonstrated ability to articulate high-level plans while also having an orientation to action and driving detailed execution plans.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills, including strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Nice to Have:

• MBA, CFA or similar credential
• Experience implementing and using planning software (Anaplan, BPC, etc.)
• Understanding of SaaS business models and the enterprise software space
