RBC is recruiting for a Senior Manager of Marketing Science Test and Learn. In this exciting role you will be responsible for the application of advanced analytics using “big data” to drive in-market test and learn strategies as part of RBC’s new “Next Best Offer” capability: targeted, optimized offers to acquire, grow, and retain our clients.

Working with our Canadian Banking and Insurance Partners, as well as key third parties, you will leverage powerful machine learning techniques and predictive models from within the Marketing Science department and run a dynamic test and learn environment – with the ultimate goal of realizing incremental revenue growth across all client segments and products.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

Proven experience in analytical database marketing, business analytics, big data or related marketing analytics role

Superior and proven experience in the application of experimental design and statistical analysis of results coupled with strong understanding of technical skills in SAS, SQL, Hadoop, or Teradata.

Excellent analytical skills – ability to creatively problem solve real world business problems and communicate complex analytical solutions in user friendly language.

Bias for action leading design against tight timelines and in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment

Excellent interpersonal and interaction skills to include communications, presentation and conflict resolution skills

Demonstrated/proven ability to drive change and continuously reinvent

Nice-to-have:

Experience in financial services industry with broad understanding of marketing, product management, sales, finance, pricing and risk management is preferred

Master’s degree in quantitative discipline
