Job description: The Solution Engineering Team plays a critical role in the execution of Nakisa Go-To-Market strategies. Together with different Teams, we identify and develop revenue opportunities within the Nakisa Customer and Prospect base. Additionally, we are advisors to our internal product team and Customers on best practices and market trends. We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Senior Manager.
As a Senior Manager you will be responsible for leading a team and working with our customers to visualize the value proposition of Nakisa-Finance products by building and presenting customized demonstrations. You will also work with various internal stakeholders to provide guidance on best practices surrounding Nakisa-Finance products based on market trends. Additionally, you will collaborate with product development and a variety of internal groups to ensure that product meets our customer needs. As a Senior Manager in the Solution Engineering Team, you will be guiding and mentoring our team and supporting our clients as a subject matter expert by providing them with best practices on our Finance products as well as industry best practices.

What you will be doing
- Build relationships with customers as a trusted advisor, translating their functional needs into Solution Architecture design, supporting their adoption of Nakisa’s cloud-based platform;
- In partnership with the Sales team, support the achievement of revenue objectives and business development strategy into Nakisa’s new and existing geographies;
- Provide presales support for all sales activities including RFPs, RFIs, proof of concepts, product demonstrations and other general sales support as a player or mentor;
- Advise our customers on Finance software development best practices and how to leverage Nakisa Finance Suite to enhance processes and accelerate innovation;
- Identify market opportunities for innovation by acting as a leader in the Finance Technology domain, keeping up with the trends in this space and thinking of new use cases;
- Participate in go-to-market initiatives by introducing new Nakisa solutions to our existing customer base and prospects;
- Contribute to Nakisa’s Marketing efforts by participating in virtual or in person events, webinars, and support in content creation;
- Prepare and deliver presentations to business and management-level audiences;
- Support implementation projects as a subject-matter expert and ensure alignment on accounting and system best practices;
- Provide feedback and input to the product team in respect to solution enhancements and market requirements;
- Have regular touch points with software development, product, global alliances, marketing, sales and professional services;
- Manage and guide a team of self-sufficient solution engineers;
What you need to bring
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field;
- 10+ yrs of experience in accounting, system implementation or consulting;
- Ability to coordinate people and activities across multiple functional areas;
- Deep domain experience working with Enterprise Customers in the Finance or Systems space;
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in a fast-paced work environment;
- Excellent presentation skills;
- Tech Savvy and able to easily understand software solutions;
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong execution skills
Good to Have
- CPA designation
- Knowledge of IFRS 16, ASC 842 & GASB 87
- MBA or other business degree
- Experience within IT/ERP development environment
