Our Technology Solutions team works with clients to translate technology issues and opportunities into meaningful results that meet organizational needs.
YOUR ROLE @ MNP
The primary function of the Senior Support Specialist is to respond to clients technical incidents that come from other team members due to time constraints or technical complexity. The Senior Support Specialist will work Tier 1, 2, or 3 incidents and consult with other team members as necessary to ultimately find a resolution.
- Escalated or infrastructure outages, including network, server and application outages
- Part of escalation pod, no assigned clients
- Infrastructure hardware issues or changes
- Backup hardware/software
- Network performance
- Storage capacity
- Full environment or server restores
- Multiple system viral outbreaks
- Email flow disruptions
Credentials
- Minimum of 5 years professional IT experience
- Advanced knowledge of Windows, Windows Server, Office Suite
- Advanced knowledge of database services including Microsoft SQL
- Advanced knowledge of email services including Microsoft Exchange and Office 365
- Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, GPO’s, NTFS and share permissions, AD replication
- Advanced knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, Routing, VPN’s, common ISP services
- Advanced knowledge of backup software, strategies and recovery methodology
- Advanced knowledge of VMWare and virtualization
- Advanced knowledge of AD, file, email migrations and upgrades
