Job description:

• Enabling a strong enterprise architecture governance program focused around a technical architecture review board * Leading and facilitating the creation of an enterprise technology plan and reference architecture * Developing enterprise technology road maps to ensure products stay aligned to the technical reference architecture’s common platforms such as API management, Identity, etc * Identify areas of opportunity for technology evolution from industry advancements and initiate transformation programs * Identifying and recommending conceptual, logical and physical architectures and corresponding solution designs aligned with architectural strategy * Leading systems analysis and design, system modeling, performance modeling, integration planning and technology, and component selection to ensure architectural consistency and coherence between technical and business processes * Assessing technology partners and components to guide strategic deployment of capital * Liaising with internal team members, end users, other systems departments and/or vendors as required; involve others in problem solving, decision making and creative thinking MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual’s status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled and all other qualified applicants * Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience * 7+ years Senior Solution and/or Enterprise Architect experience in high volume, highly available and secure enterprise applications and solutions * Ability to design and articulate complex technical concepts into executable work packages * Presentation skills to diverse audiences * Familiar with modern system architecture concepts and delivery processes: Micro-services, API, Integration patterns, TDD, Agile, CI/CD, DevSecOps * Certification or knowledge with Enterprise Architecture tools and frameworks (Archimate, TOGAF, Zachmann) * Strong knowledge of cyber security issues and technologies for authentication, encryption, authorization; privacy and data security issues and legislation * Working experience in private and public cloud infrastructures, with public Cloud technologies and concepts (AWS, GCP) experience. * Working knowledge in progressive technologies such as HTML5, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, React, Angular.js, Node.js, .NET, APM, Splunk * Experience working with database technologies: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RDS, Aurora, etc… * Awareness of messaging concepts such as XML and JSON and standard EDI message sets (ANSI, X12, HL7) * Working knowledge of traditional infrastructure: Unix, Windows, Oracle Database Server, Oracle webLogic, webMethods Integration server, MS SQL Server, hypervisor and virtualization, networking * Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills; Health-Tech Competitive compensation & great benefits.
