The Department of Computer Science within the Faculty of Science invites applications for a CPSC 329 Sessional Instructor for the Winter 2023 Term.

The successful candidate will have responsibilities for instruction and associated duties for this 3-unit course during the Winter 2023 Term, including the supervision and direction of teaching assistants that will teach the tutorial sections.

CPSC 329 – Explorations in Information Security and Privacy

A broad survey of topics in information security and privacy, with the purpose of cultivating an appropriate mindset for approaching security and privacy issues. Topics will be motivated by recreational puzzles. Legal and ethical considerations will be introduced as necessary.

Winter 2023 Term Dates: Tuesday, January 3, 2023 – Friday, April 28, 2023

Teaching Schedule: MWF 11:00 – 11:50

Applicants should have a minimum of an MSc in Computer Science or a closely related discipline – a PhD is preferred. Preference will be given to graduate students and postdocs in our program looking to obtain teaching experience, followed by applicants with a postgraduate degree.
