Job description:

• Greet and welcome guests into Sky Bistro and seat them with a high level of professionalism
• Ensure that the guests are made comfortable, informed of wait times and special events
• Control seating to ensure service levels are maintained at the highest level
• Provide an excellent first impression of the restaurant
• Be ready to tell the Sky Bistro story
• Provide professional food and beverage service to all customers
• Assist servers with all aspects of service
• Maintain a clean and organized environment
• Answering telephone, booking reservations, and moving tables
• Work with management to assign server sections to optimize the guest experience
• Take orders when required

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
• All employees must maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance and professional appearance.
