The Software Developer for Roots will be responsible for the following:
- Build software by writing code and modifying software to fix errors, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces
- Software programming and documentation development
- System testing and validation procedures and working with departments on technical issues, including software system design and maintenance
- Gathering of requirements and business process knowledge to transform data based on the provided business logic
- Develop data integration standards according to the organization’s information services policies as well as best practices
- Implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across one or more data stores from a wide variety of sources
- Optimize data integration platform to provide optimal performance under increasing data volumes
- Learning new innovative technologies and upgrading knowledge on existing technologies
- Maintaining existing and development of the new interfaces using SSIS, MuleSoft, Microsoft Azure
- Build extensible data acquisition and integration solutions to meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the business
- Ad hoc reporting
Top candidates for the Software Developer role will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree
- Extensive knowledge of programming languages and the software development life-cycle.
- Strong programming skills with C#, .Net, .Net Core, JavaScript and JSON
- Azure Cloud (Function App, Web Apps, Logic Apps, Application Insight, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Cosmos DB)
- Experience with event-driven design
- Experience working with Messaging queues systems such as (Rabbit MQ or Service Bus)
- Experience with SQL query writing
- A minimum of three years’ experience with Cloud Technology, big data, and data warehousing
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI
- Experience with MuleSoft is a plus
