NOTE: Based in the Markham office, the role will be required to use online communication technologies as well as periodic travel to other Quadient offices and client sites across Canada as required.
Summary:
The Solutions Support Specialist is focused on supporting Quadient�s effort to grow market share within the Intelligent Document Automation (IDA) portfolio as well the Shipping and Tracking portfolio (MRS). This role will support both pre and post sales efforts within the assigned Quadient sales channel, working in collaboration with the sales team, post sales team and 3rd party suppliers to help deliver the strongest Quadient Value Proposition to end clients/prospects. This role will also play a key role in partner relationship management, channel development and market awareness actives including participation in trade shows.
This role will be responsible for providing product demos to help ensure a successful sales engagement, collaborating with clients on security questionnaire completion, configuration of solutions, installation, and technical support – �including project management as well as post-implementation customer success.
Based in the Markham office, the role will be required to use online communication technologies as well as periodic travel to other Quadient offices and client sites across Canada as required.
In This Role, You Will:
��
Analyze customer hardware and software requirements, assess and document end-user infrastructure specifications, and create complex business solutions
��
provide technical expertise for the preparation of PRAs (Project Requirement Analysis)/POCs (Proof of Concept), sales proposals, and Request for Proposal (RFP/RFQ).
��
Plan the configuration of Cloud (AWS / Azure) implementation for our Cloud/SaaS solutions
��
Estimate lead time and resource requirements for deployment of solutions
��
Complete client security questionnaires
��
Design custom databases (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
��
Install Quadient solutions and applications on customer servers � (Windows, Linux)
��
Develop and manage implementation plans in collaboration with customers, the Technical Support and Service teams, as well as third party suppliers (as required)
��
Perform gap analysis on Quadient programs to identify missing features, and consult with R&D to correct any missing features that are discovered
��
Provide support and perform on-site quality control testing, updates, maintenance, and repair
��
Maintain accurate records of all account activities in SFDC and ServiceMax
What You Bring:
��
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
��
Minimum of 5 years in software development and project management
��
Demonstrated working experience and knowledge of databases, application development, analytical tools, and design functional specifications, with a strong understanding of enterprise applications
��
Working knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Microsoft Azure
��
Experienced in troubleshooting application bugs and solving customer problems
��
Familiarity with various programming languages and development platforms
��
Must be autonomous and proactive, and comfortable learning new technologies in a fast-paced environment
��
Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to analyze quantitatively, and ability to support scope of requirements
��
Experience with Salesforce.com
��
Demonstrated time management skills along with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands.
��
High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a team and diverse environment
Preferred:
��
Bi-lingual (French and English)
��
Experience with and understanding of output management processes
��
Knowledge of data types (e.g. PDF, postscript, delimited, line feed, fixed length)
��
Experience with office equipment industry – printers, inserters, document management systems
