MAJOR DUTIES:

Support the Spare Parts team by coordinating, documenting, and tracking various project and order related tasks and performance metrics.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Project Managers with production scheduling and resource allocation for Spare Parts assemblies and major RSPL projects.
  • Ongoing support for Spare Part’s financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Maintenance of Spare Parts metrics and KPI reporting and support.
  • Assisting Order Entry team with customer escalations, order information requests and customer satisfaction as required.
  • Maintenance and support of internal and external NCR’s, SRMA’s and customer warranty requests
  • RFQ and proposal documentation support as required.
  • Gathering supporting information for customer status reports.
  • Coordinate vendor and customer invoice tracking and discrepancies.
  • Maintenance of BQMS process and project documentation.
  • Complete project Shipping Request Forms (SRF) and facilitate shipments as necessary.
  • Ensure project related documents are stored and maintained in relevant SharePoint locations.
  • Support action item monitoring reporting with the PM and Spare Parts Manager.
  • Tracking, development and reporting of continual improvement, PSE and 5S initiatives within the Spare Parts team.

Compliance:

  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
  • Work in compliance with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures.
  • Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tagout methods.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts.
  • Report defect in any equipment or protective device.
  • Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks.
  • Attend all required health, safety and environmental training.
  • Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor.
  • Assist in investigating accidents/incidents.
  • Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

A Post-Secondary college diploma, engineering / business degree or equivalent. Project management experience an asset

  • Extremely well organized
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to interact in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Business knowledge and experience
  • Interest in developing project management skills
