What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Consultant, you will work within Process Solutions, Contact Centre Support team to focus on Processes that will drive a great client experience. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for leading/participating in/overseeing multiple process initiatives/projects that enable the Contact Centres to realize efficiencies within processes, support revenue growth, and improve levels of client satisfaction. This role will also help define business and process requirements and manage deliverables against business partner expectations and time sensitive deadlines.
How You’ll Succeed
Process and Project Delivery – Think strategically to identify ways to improve the business including new process opportunities and capabilities for existing and emerging Contact Centers processes, scope, build support, develop detailed business case, obtain approval, develop processes and drive to implementation. Support the operational alignment and transition of ongoing business operations for approved initiatives by developing appropriate business cases, outlining costs, resources, timeframes, processes and any other related requirements, such as technical and functional specifications.. Monitor implementation of projects to ensure success, including major milestones and if necessary reassign project priorities to maintain the project schedule. This includes monitoring the involvement of internal and external resources and ensuring that senior management approvals on project progress or problem resolution are obtained in a timely manner.. Exercise sound operational judgment in the formulation of strategic process recommendations to foresee and mitigate high-impact issues and complexities. Using logical and systematic techniques, establish a holistic understanding of processes or operations. Assess risk impact on an ongoing basis and provide recommendation on how to mitigate them while supporting all governance processes and controls including but not limited to key controls and audits. Provide leadership and effective management of indirect reports to influence employee commitment to the organization, to the team, and to their job. Creating a positive work environment and being an effective role model by championing CIBC’s mission, vision and values. Ensuring compliance with policies, standards, guidelines and controls by applying the policies and controls fairly and consistently so employees understand what to expect.
Relationship Management – Work collaboratively with business partners, Internal clients and project team to deliver process that meets business and client. Create presentations to summarize findings and recommendations in a concise manner and presenting to the senior audience. Work closely with various internal partner groups at the Senior Management/Director/Executive levels to promote acceptance and implementation of new or revised processes and services and manage resistance to change.

You have a degree/diploma in University degree in Business or Engineering. Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or eligibility for certification as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt would be considered a strong asset.
You can demonstrate experience in 5 – 7 years in process improvement/transformation, consulting (internal or external), or process engineering, with preference being given to experience leading/delivering complex transformational/process improvement projects in the financial industry and Contact Centre knowledge. Extensive experience successfully applying Business Process Management, Six Sigma, or Lean concepts. Technical skills: proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, Project),
