The Western Region IT Delivery team is an Agile DevOps team that is passionate about enabling success of the Bell Business Market organization. This team is responsible for software delivery, support, and all aspects of IT operations.

Our team is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Architect who will work closely with the IT/Cloud Technology teams, Network and Business Operations, and other teams across the business to ensure our IT Network and Cloud infrastructure is state of the art, high performance, resilient, secure, and stays ahead of all business needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Overall responsibility for the end to end IT network performance, reliability, security and operations
• Identification and business case development for investments needed to sustain the network and enable evolving business needs to be met
• Responsible for providing leadership and design initiatives for building technology solutions.
• Develops architecture and integration to support medium to large-scale initiatives.
• Defines project scope, plans and deliverables including cost and timelines.
• Collaborate closely with other IT and Cloud Infrastructure teams to deliver projects.
• Collaborate closely with Business teams to understand solution requirements.
• Oversight of vendors, contractors, and other resources as required

Qualifications Include:

• Diploma, Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science or similar field.
• Proven ability to work individually and within a team.
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid (home/office) environment.
• Total IT experience of at least 8 years out of which 3 are focused on IT Solution Architecture.
• Respected as a collaborative, high performing partner with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience providing IT architecture and planning.
• Ability to produce IT solutions, both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience and/or training related to one or more Architecture and Service Delivery Frameworks (TOGAF, eTOM, ITIL, CoBiT, etc.).
• Experience and/or training related to one or more infrastructure technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, AWS, etc).
• Experience and expertise in firewall management and network security
• Knowledge and experience with Algosec would be an asset
• Specializes in developing and designing infrastructure related solutions within network technology.
• Certifications in Cisco, Juniper, AWS or other cloud partner providers are an asset.
• Preference will be given to candidates in Calgary due to the proximity to the physical network components
