Job description: Our large enterprise client requires The Staff Regional Office Information Technology (IT) Specialist for 12 months, with possible extension.
The Staff Regional Office Information Technology (IT) Specialist will deliver multiple audio services and general Information Technology offerings to our clients across the United States, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, customer commitment, a sense of urgency, and continuous improvement. This position will assist with technical advice and support our employee-owners in quality IT and audio services.
oPerform installation repair and upgrade of computer hardware.
oPerform troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
oPresent training on hardware and software packages.
oPerform preventative IT/Network maintenance tasks.
oWork with the Corporate IT Infrastructure team with installation, maintenance and repair of network and phone resources.
oResolve any issues in Audio Visual (AV) enabled spaces to complete resolution, including coordination with AV integration partners on hardware warranty, control system programming, or cabling
issues.
oCollaborate with AV integration partners to coordinate the design and implementation of corporate AV standards in any corporate office relocation, remodel, or expansion.
oPerform acceptance testing for any AV integrated control system for all new installations, moves, or changes.
oDevelop AV standard configurations that meet the needs of the Client.
oInstallation of basic and standard AV when scheduled or cost prohibits the use of an AV integration partner.
oActively develop and maintain business relationships with regional office staff and management for feedback/user integration.
oPerform IT processes for daily activities as defined by Corporate IT including asset management activities and IT inventory management.
oResolve asset management tasks by completing appropriate documentation, maintaining inventories of active equipment, and providing for the disposition of returned technology assets.
oProvide support for customers in all Client locations via phone, video, e-mail, and in-person to resolve.
oResolve incidents assigned from other IT groups or non-IT sources.
oProvide AV support during presentations and company-sponsored events
oProvide setup and execution of video conferences.
oProvide training and education to Client employees on the usage of AV systems.
oAll other duties as assigned
Requirements –
oBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related degree. Applicable years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
oMinimum 7 years of experience
oMicrosoft A+ certification, a plus.
oThis position requires a self-starter with a bias for proactive initiative, excellent follow-through on tasks, strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to
clearly communicate to all levels of employees, management and clients.
oTechnical expertise in desktops, workstations, laptops and other IT peripheral devices required.
oMust be knowledgeable in LAN/WAN environments and possess expert problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
oExcellent audiovisual skills, including issue troubleshooting abilities.
oExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
oStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
