THE ROLE:

Working with our Information Technology team in Calgary, this will be a full-time student position from May to September 2023. During your summer, you will gain exposure to the energy industry by attending sessions hosted by subject matter experts and will have an opportunity to showcase your learnings with your student network. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
- Assist the Information Technology (IT) team to develop customer-focused technology solutions
- Collaborate with the IT team in the implementation of various technology initiatives
- Assist the IT team with data maintenance and documentation
- Assist with process development and documentation
- Participate in various projects as needed
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree or diploma program at a post-secondary institution in Canada, and must be returning to studies after the work term
- Enrolled in Computer Science, Commerce (with Information Systems focus) or other similar program is preferred
- IT generalist with strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure and Apple IPhone iOS is considered an asset
- Cyber and Information Security familiarity an asset
- Exposure to Service Now software is considered an asset
- Highly adaptable to changing priorities
- The ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships with your team, peers, and diverse business groups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time and data management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
