Leader: Strategic Partner for TIE (Technology, Innovation & Engineering) & XO (Customer Experience Office)

As ATB’s newest Talent Acquisition Partner, you will work closely with the existing Talent Acquisition team, as well as key stakeholders in People & Culture, and hiring leaders within our TIE & XO teams, to acquire top new talent for ATB Financial in a fast-paced recruiting environment. You have a strategic view of the Talent Acquisition discipline, particularly in Information Technology environments, and how it helps to shape the achievement of performance against business goals for the organization. You are known for providing a top notch recruiting experience for prospective candidates and hiring leaders, and are adept at building strong relationships and providing strategic consulting in the talent acquisition space.

Specifically, you will:

  • Be a strong ambassador for ATB Talent Brand and Employee Value Proposition in all of your activities
  • Be adept at delivering an optimal experience while managing large requisition loads according to the ATB Talent Acquisition strategy
  • Demonstrate proven experience in direct-sourcing, deploying sophisticated and rigorous strategies
  • Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of employment markets and sourcing strategies appropriate to role requirements
  • Possess strong knowledge of recruiting tools and job boards/websites such as Indeed, LinkedIn and others
  • Understand the unique needs, challenges and opportunities of the team so as to develop customized recruitment and attraction strategies that showcase ATB as THE Place to Work, particularly for IT professionals
  • Develop and utilize thorough screening, interviewing and assessment tools to ensure candidates meet the role and ATB specific requirements, including assessing cultural fit for the organization.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to track and report key metrics designed to measure effectiveness of recruitment activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with senior leadership, People & Culture, hiring leaders, other Areas of Expertise and Strategic Service Units, as well as external vendors, professional associations. and post-secondary institutions.
  • Build a pipeline of top talent through employee referrals, career fairs, internal and external networking, passive recruitment activities, job boards, traditional postings and preferred vendors.
  • Assist hiring leaders in overseeing the entire recruitment process ensuring candidates are engaged and updated throughout the process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related area
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in full-cycle Recruitment, particularly in an Information Technology environment
  • Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) or other related designation is considered an asset
  • Working knowledge of ATS or HRIS systems and processes
  • Digital proficiency with various computer applications (e.g., Google Suite, MS Office Suite etc.)
