Job Description Summary Manages and leads a team of employees servicing the GTA. The candidate communicates company goals, best practices, and deadlines to team. Motivates team members and assesses performance. Provides help to management, including hiring and training, and keeps management updated on team performance. Communicates concerns and policies among management and team members.

We are looking for a Team Leader to join our Taskforce Ecosystem servicing and supporting the GTA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Taskforce support team in line with the daily operation of the business line. This position manages the support team who service the coordination and organization, deal documentation, MLS and exclusive listing processes, advertising and marketing, research and data analysis, and various administrative duties.

Job Responsibilities:

Team Leader Duties

  • Directs, administers and controls the day to day operations, activities and performance of the Taskforce. Sets clear goals and strategies to achieve success within the Taskforce support ecosystem.
  • Responsible for the onboarding, training and probation process of new hires within the department. Assists management with hiring processes and new team member training
  • Identifies and implements, when change is required, to improve ways of working, or simplifying tasks, as approved by Management
  • Communicates concerns and policies among management and team members.
  • Develops, reviews, and improves administrative systems, policies, and procedures
  • Serves as the liaison between administrative personnel and Operations by communicating needs and concerns so they can be handled expeditiously
  • Ensures company branded materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards
  • Oversees special projects and programs done by team and oversees output and results
  • Provides help to management, including hiring and training, and keeps management updated on team performance.
  • Interact with other department heads in managing the entire operations
  • Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines
  • Helps and resolves teams’ questions and issues. Oversees the teams’ work for quality and ensure guidelines are complied with.
  • Assists in balancing workload for team and may need to fill in on occasion where expertise is needed
  • Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
  • Creates a healthy, fun and motivating work environment and atmosphere. Plans and organizes team building activities
  • Conducts team meetings to update team on best practices and continuing expectations

Qualifications

  • At least 4 to 6 years of related supervisory and work experience
  • Post-secondary education in related field is strongly preferred
  • Team Leadership Experience, Product Knowledge and Industry Experience
  • Strong Leadership and Motivational Skills
  • Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills
  • Employee Training Experience
  • Computer proficiency in Adobe applications such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & Acrobat
  • Professional and Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong skill sets in digital marketing marketing (Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service at all levels of the organization and with external partners
  • Exhibits a high level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, excellent product quality and attention to detail
  • Strong relationship-building ability, proactive, results-oriented, and resourceful
  • Possess strong organizational, time management and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Appropriate work ethic/commitment level required
