The focus of the Technical Solution Analyst role is to lead product research and selection, functional design, configuration, tuning, and validation. The Technical Solution Analyst will troubleshoot advanced data integrity and complex data integration issues, conduct root cause analysis, and prescribe resolutions. You will possess extensive knowledge in your areas of expertise and help PCL achieve our business goals by evaluating and recommending cost-effective solutions that align with strategic objectives. You will be primarily focused on the Autodesk suite of desktop and cloud application, with additional responsibilites for supplemental applications to support this segment of our construction business.

As a Technical Solution Analyst for our North American Headquarters located in Edmonton, AB, you will contribute to our team by:

• Designing, delivering, and supporting preconstruction solutions, with a specific focus on leveraging and extending the Autodesk suite of desktop and cloud solutions.
• Developing and providing ongoing support of quick hit business solutions based on these tools
• Working with our development team to design and deliver custom solutions in the preconstruction space, when gaps can’t be filled with existing solutions.
• Adminstering, including occasional software installation, of Autodesk and additional software used during preconstruction.
• Administering of the Autodesk BIM360 Design Collaboration cloud application.
• Providing user adminstration support, including Single Sign On (SSO) setup and adminstration wherever possible.
• Adminstering our Autodesk platform, including:

• Enterprise licensing
• Coordination of Annual product updates
• Coordinating updates as new versions are released

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

• Postsecondary degree or diploma in information management, information technology, computing science, business administration, or a related discipline.
• 6 years of progressive experience in functional solutions design, implementation, and ongoing management in this or a related field.
• Architect-level certification for supported product and solutions preferred.
• A proven ability to pull together a diverse set of technologies to create innovative technical solutions to complex business problems
• In addition to the experience above, preference will be given to people with:

• Previous experience with the full suite of Autodesk solutions
• Past software development experience,
• Experience with web and API development.
• Experience using, and developing with, the Autodesk Forge API’s
• PowerBI experience
• Logic Apps and Power Automate experience
• Azure Functions experience
• Cosmos Database experience, SQL database experience
