Description

In the context of the digital transformation at iA Financial Group, we are looking for GCP technology designer to provide guidance and expert advice in the following areas:

Oversee high-level GCP architecture for the Wealth Platform Program, and coordinate at a high-level infrastructure, security, and networking requirements
Provide integration strategies with various corporate platforms (IAM, data, etc) and other Cloud providers (Azure)
Provide integration strategies with on-prem data sources
Provide advice, best practices, pitfalls, limitations, and alternatives to specific GCP products, scalability of specific GCP products and features
Create End-to-end design of DevOps release management pipeline and oversee implementation using GCP tools
Evaluation of high-level scenarios that range from hybrid to cloud native and multi-cloud
Provide Short- and long-term transition strategies from on-prem to cloud
Provide High level estimates of compute, storage, and egress costs
Contribute to elaborate the cloud governance including cost management strategies
Conduct “delivered as designed” reviews with technical teams

You will work with the enterprise architect; solution architect and data strategy leader and your advice will guide us to select the best scenario.

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management informatics, information systems, computer engineering or software, mathematics or any other relevant training at the same level.
More than 10 years of experience in information technology, with a minimum of 5 years in the required specialty area.
Mastery of techniques, reference frameworks and methodologies specific to your field of expertise (SAFe©, Agile, Software Development Lifecycle, etc.).
Experience with continuous deployment concepts and tools (e.g., DevOps).
Excellent communication skills structured and accessible technical speaker, able to summarize efficiently and capable of working effectively in a team environment.
Natural leader with the ability to influence and guide others, particularly in solution delivery teams and collaborators outside his/her specialty.
Strong ability to identify and solve problems.
Excellent coordination, negotiation and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry (asset).
Functional knowledge of French, both oral and written (asset). Bilingualism will be considered an asset.

Specific requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience as an architect
Cloud architect certification
Experience with GCP and specifically its data products
Experience with Azure
