About this team
The Global Digital Technology organization is seeking a talented team leader that will oversee the program management team working to delivery lululemon’s web and mobile experiences, with a history of demonstrated results leading large, cross-functional teams that accomplish complex projects across matrixed organizations. They must thrive in fast-paced environments, be able to manage through ambiguity and complexity, create and simplify processes, and simultaneously support multiple projects impacting a growing global organization. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make tradeoffs and balance business needs versus technical constraints. Maturity, curiosity, creative problem solving, and team leadership are all essential for success in this role.

A day in the life:
You are an independent manager who is comfortable managing team members with different skill sets from your own and you can communicate expectations clearly to all team members. In addition to strong management skills, you act as a leader for the technical roadmap for your team and you communicate timeline, scope and risks to partners and stakeholders, and lead the delivery of major initiatives on clear timelines. You identify areas of strategic technical debt, do the cost/benefit analysis for resolving this debt and communicate suggested timelines for prioritizing this to the management team.

Core Accountabilities:
- Lead a team of product/project delivery professionals across multiple work streams simultaneously
- Adjust process and timeline to ensure that high quality deliverables are produced
- Assemble and manage the Identity portfolio’s roadmap across multiple projects, each with their own checkpoint gates
- Responsible for managing the Identity portfolio’s overall budget, ensuring the team is assembled and structured to effectively and efficiently deliver the portfolio’s initiatives
- Ensure the right skills are being used to solve the right problems across your team
- Guide your team to champion project/program management best practices and procedures.
- Identify and remove roadblocks to success
Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in IT; 5+ years of program management experience
- 7+ years of project management and/or business analyst experience
- Comfortable working in complex and large-scale production environments
- Prior retail experience in the retail industry preferred
- Education in IT or related field (preferred)
