The team:
The Global Technology Solutions (GTS) – Service Support’s Enterprise Operational Readiness team is mandated to ensure that Information Technology projects delivery are executed effectively in the prevention of incidents and service delivery stability with appropriate risk mitigation controls in place. This process includes a global scope and is initiated early in the project lifecycle framework to ensure all mandatory requirements are completed according to compliance standards in a timely manner prior to change management approval for production implementation.
The role:
Reporting to the Enterprise Operational Readiness Lead, you are a part of a team that ensures the Enterprise Operational Readiness policies, processes and automation tool adherence for all Information Technology projects delivery. This will include alignment with the organizational Enterprise Delivery Framework by interlocking closely with project stakeholders to provide effective projects delivery governance in a time sensitive fast paced environment requiring proactive thought leadership diligence to prioritize and complete tasks effectively and independently.

- You thrive on facilitating, reviewing and completing the collection, sharing and archiving of project artifacts for service operational support, risk, privacy, security, testing and capacity planning, etc.
- You will ensure that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and understood by project implementation stakeholders by mapping them to other relevant processes such as ITIL Change & Incident Management through regular collaboration and training.
- You get to identify all residual risks and communicate them for acknowledgement by appropriate management personnel for mitigation.
- You will improve customer experience by ensuring communication and training to the project teams and other stakeholders comprising of small to large groups on a regular basis to facilitate their capability to execute the requirements for the Enterprise Operational Readiness phase of the project delivery framework.
- You will assist with continual improvement initiatives for the process and the ServiceNow automation tool.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
- You possess excellent communication (verbal & written) skills in English in order to connect with both technical and business functional stakeholders. The same in Spanish is an asset.
- You have at least 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience in a large, enterprise Information Technology service delivery Operations environment (e.g., Level 2 & 3 help desk support for systems & networks).
- You have at least 2+ years of technical working knowledge in each of the following: Storage Technologies (SAN, NAS); Active Directory, DNS, LAN, Cloud Technologies (e.g., IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).
- You can demonstrate excellent knowledge on the use of MS Excel to create/maintain pivot tables & macros; plus, perform data analysis. You can also create presentations on MS PowerPoint & incorporate the use of graphics & charts.
- You have demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
- You possess the abilities to independently manage multiple assignments, understand priorities and meet strict deadlines proactively.
- You have completed a post-secondary education; plus completed an ITIL Foundation certification (versions 2 and/or 3 and/or 4).
