Opportunity: First Truck Centre has an opening for a Temporary (3-4 month contract) Delivery Driver at our Abbotsford location. Working in our parts department, the Delivery Driver will contribute in one of Canada’s best managed companies. Responsibilities:

The Driver is responsible for safely operating our company truck to facilitate the pickup and delivery of parts throughout the area. This role assists with the loading and unloading of trucks, forklift operation, picking and stocking parts and ensuring clean and orderly conditions. The driver must be familiar with the streets and highways of the area, able to identify parts, have a high standard for vehicle maintenance, and follow all safe driving regulations set out by the province and the company.

Skill Set:

• Professionally represent the company while providing excellent customer service
• Strong willingness to following safety procedures and company policies
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
• Ability to work in a physical capacity including heavy lifting
• Must be comfortable driving and maintaining a company vehicle

Requirements:

• 3 – 4 month TEMPORARY POSITION 4X4 SHIFT SCHEDULE
• High School Diploma (or currently completing high school)
• Class 5 BC driver’s license
• Previous driving or warehouse experience an asset
• Forklift experience an asset (training will be provided)
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol, and physical fitness testing
