Our Fleet Department is seeking a Full- Time Journeyman Transport Trailer Technician to join our team in our Headingley shop.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Inter-provincial Red Seal Journeyman Transport Trailer Technician qualification
• CVIP certified / Experience

Must have experience in the following:

• Service, repair, assemble and maintain transport trailers

• Work on all parts and systems of a transport trailer, including framework, body work, suspension, brakes, wheels, electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration and heating
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems
• General testing and repairs of equipment for proper performance, ensuring that the work is done meets manufacturers’ specifications and legislated regulations
• Write detailed and accurate service/maintenance reports
• Have a valid class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
• Performed all other duties as assigned
• Must be able to perform CVIP inspections.
• Class 1 or 3 driver’s license is an asset.
