Combined position for a Truck Driver-Winter Patrolman (5 months per year) and also a Labour (7 months per year).
Schedule: 40 hours (flexible hours during the winter)

Workplaces:

Truck Driver (Winter) : Plantagenet, Ontario

Labourer (Summer) : Embrun, Ontario

Closing date: 4:00 p.m., November 11, 2021

Requirements:

• High school diploma.
• Ability to communicate in French and English (verbally and in writing).
• Own a valid class “DZ” driver’s license.
• Must be able to get to the garage within 30 minutes following the foreman’s call.

Assets:

• Experience in welding and/or mechanical repair.
• WHMIS, St. John Ambulance or tire installation courses.
• One year of experience with snowplow and as a salt and sand spreader operator.
• Two years of experience in road construction and maintenance.

A criminal record check must be provided upon hiring only (dated no longer than three months prior to the date when it has been requested) and is a condition of employment.
