Job description: POSITION SUMMARY:
The Upstander Education Coordinator is responsible for the YWCA Upstander Program, this program offers engaging workshops, presentations, and education for Men and Boys with the intended outcome of eliminating gender-based violence. The Upstander Education Coordinator will deliver presentations to men and boys in Saskatoon and rural locations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate Upstander presentations and workshops for community groups, teams, schools, events, organizations and/or corporations
Act as a liaison with YWCA Regina
Recruitment of potential volunteers for program facilitation, which involves screening, training, and supervision
Maintain program budget, tracking of program expenditures, invoicing of outside agencies and receipt management
Plan, organize, and facilitate Upstander presentations Lead volunteers and contract staff to deliver programming.
Strengthen relationships with outside agencies including partnerships with schools and CBOs
Make referrals to other agencies as warranted i.e. Enough Already, OH&S
Maintain and track program statistics, goals, and objectives
Assist in and maintain evaluation of program effectiveness to ensure continual program improvement, growth, success, and excellence.
Manage intake of participants for program registration and certificates of program completion
Provide regular reports to Director, or special reports as requested
Complete annual performance review including professional goals and objectives for the coming year

QUALIFICATIONS:
Two-year post-secondary diploma in a related field (ex. education, social or human services, child and youth work, family studies etc.) and/or relevant work experience.
