VCA Canada Cachet Village Animal Hospital is currently recruiting for a Veterinary Technician to join our awesome team. You will have an opportunity to use your skills to their fullest potential. Our Vet Tech’s are given the necessary tools and resources to be successful within our hospital. You will have opportunities to expand your learning through extensive exposure and involvement on various cases and you will have access to our in house University!

Requirements:

• Currently attending an AHT program or Vet Tech program
• Knowledge of clinical procedures; Venipuncture, Catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring and patient assessment
• Knowledge of surgical preparation, surgical assistance, and patient recovery
• Willing to further enhance technical skills in the above procedures
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents
• Proven ability to keep accurate patient records
• Strong ability to problem-solve
