Job description: Are you a visionary and results driven sales and management professional? Are you a high impact leader and consultative strategic business partner? As the Vice President – Sales, you will be responsible for the development and management of the sales process both internally and externally. You will develop and execute strategic sales strategies that expand the current share of wallet with existing customers and position Axiom solutions to new customers who are looking for higher level insights and design leadership. Overall, you will be accountable to meet corporate growth objectives, revenue and profitability mandates. You are a strong leader of the sales team, account managers and internal quoting and estimating department; someone who doesn’t just fulfil an order, but steps back and considers what additional value add Axiom can bring to each customer. Technical sales presentations, customer relationship development and management are key aspects of this role You have an inner need to meet and exceed KPI’s as assigned. You have a client-centric attitude, and are known for establishing and maintaining client relationships. What you can expect as our next Vice President – Sales: Accountable for managing complete customer engagement/customer satisfaction with proven ability to conflict resolute in cases of misunderstandings or disagreements Create and execute strategic sales & marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives Ability to adjust sales strategy and tactics based on market/economic environment/opportunities as required Overseeing the entire estimation and quoting function. Strategizing and providing guidance to the Estimating team, review quotes for submission Managing and leading all quoting related activity and personnel Monitor competitors’ products, including relevant sales and marketing data Develop an operating budget for the sales division that meets business goals Use available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate performance goals Complete market research and analyze results to adjust sales and marketing strategy for maximum success Responsible for the development of new accounts and contact information Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and strategic plans, goals and objectives for reporting staff Managing performance expectations for all direct reports- setting goals/objectives and managing the outcomes Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships (throughout the North American, Mexico marketplace & globally as required) Client centric attitude, servicing customers in a timely & professional manner Ability to Manage Accounts successfully (nurturing and growing existing accounts as well as developing new accounts) Identify new market trends and product requirements to ensure advanced product development Ensure all customer expectations are supported and achieved by direct reports Assist in ensuring the successful launch of all new programs through program management Prepare reports and status information on new customer development Other duties as assigned. Are you our next Vice President – Sales? Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Sales/Business Development or Account Manager related role Successful experience building relationships within the Automotive industry at the OEM level Motivated self-starter that thrives on setting & meeting set performance expectations and achieving results Well-connected within the Automotive/Manufacturing industry, ability to provide a network of potential clients Proven experience working within a company with high-growth potential opportunities Experience developing long-term sales strategies for key accounts that align with corporate mandate Successful experience monitoring and evaluating sales rep progress against stated expectations, in addition to aligning and changing behavior with performance expectations Impeccable interpersonal skills- with the ability to create & deliver Technical Sales Presentations positioning the company for success Strong relationship building skills (internal & external stakeholders) Customer advocate- able to effectively communicate client needs to the organization Successful experience building a go-to-market strategy and corporate sales plan Perks?!
