Primary Objective of Position:

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) manual loading and unloading of freight with the use of pallet jack (pump truck), as well as sorting and scanning packages. Duties include general labour and warehouse maintenance. Warehouse Associates work under the direct supervision of the Operations Supervisor or Team Lead.

Location: 3200 East Broadway, Vancouver, BC

We are a convenient five to ten minute walk from Rupert Skytrain Station.

Hours: Variable (hours may vary depending on business needs)

Full-time:

Monday – Friday

6:30AM – 3:00PM

10:00PM – 6:30AM

Part-time:

Monday – Friday

2:00PM – 6:00PM

4:00PM – 8:30PM

Saturday + Sunday

10:00AM – 6:30PM (hours may vary depending on business needs)

Must be available for both Saturday and Sunday to qualify.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

– Unloading and loading packages

– Manually sorting and scanning packages

– Wrapping, closing, and staging pallets

– Understanding and usage of Amazon scanners

– Meeting Amazon’s KPI scan rate

– Adhere to CEVA’s policies and procedures

– Comply with operations requirements as necessary

– Attending and contributing to pre-shift meetings

– Champion safety in all aspects

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

– High school diploma preferred

– Possess a valid work permit

– Must possess problem solving, conflict resolution, decision-making and planning/organizing skills

– Must be able to work well in a team environment and independently

– Ability to work in high volume pedestrian and machine traffic

– Ability to multitask and have excellent time management

– Ability to commit to varying schedules

– Ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment

– Ability to complete assigned work within the given time frame

– General understanding of how each work area interconnects

– Work area can get quite hot and humid in the summer

– Frequent walking, bending, lifting, and constant standing

– Handling of packages up to 50 lbs
