About the Opportunity

On behalf of our client, an award-winning NGO, we are recruiting for a Bilingual Marketing & Communications Coordinator for a one-year term with a strong possibility of renewal. This role would see the successful candidate coordinating and implementing the organizations marketing and communications strategy including events, social media printed product and online presence.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of offline and online marketing materials and events
  • Maintain the Marketing & Communications calendar
  • Assist with the drafting and publication of media releases and maintain media contacts
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to Project Teams
  • Provide editing and proofreading services to internal teams
  • Support the production of an eNewsletter, including writing, curating and layout
  • Coordinate with contractors such as graphic designers and printers and translators
  • Track and assess performance metrics
  • Sup[ort the Director, Marketing and Communications in developing communications policies, processes and best practices

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Relevant post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing or other related discipline
  • 1-3 years of relevant work history in Communications and/or Marketing
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Strong technical skills with experience using the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience working across an organization and with external vendors/partners
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Exemplary communication skills
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is mandatory

About the Job

This role is a full time/ term for one year, offering a competitive salary of $44,000 to $47,000 with a competitive benefits package. This client has a comprehensive on-boarding plan to ensure the success of the selected candidate and is committed to safe, remote work at present with an eventual return to work that will include occasional travel, when approved by OPL and the Province of Ontario.
