Job description: WHO YOU ARE :

Our client is searching for an ambitious team player and self-starter to grow within a fast paced start-up environment. As the Production Lead located in their Vancouver facility, you will play a key role in executing all activities related to the operations and production

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee production operations to ensure compliance with methods, quality and production standards, safety regulations and the efficient operations of equipment

• Establishes priorities and sequences for manufacturing products

• Manages and oversees the labor schedule and staff attendance; manages cost through reduced

Overtime and optimized flow:

• Prepare various daily/weekly/monthly production reports

• Ensures that target level of production is attained

• Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization, prior to operations

• Conduct and supervisor employee training

• Develop and revise standard operational and working practices, in accordance to Company policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act

• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects

• Monitor and evaluate subordinate performance, coaching employees and providing information

Requirements

• Knowledgeable in the food and beverage industry and you have spent time working for a large restaurant, hotel, club or resort

• You are knowledgeable about food safety and safety regulations

• A post-secondary diploma or degree is preferred

• Occupational First Aid (OFA) Certification or equivalent is considered an asset

• Sound knowledge of safety and health standard regulations

• Previous experience with warehouse machinery and equipment is an asset

• **MUST be able to work a variety of shifts including evenings (4PM – 12:30AM) and weekends**
