One of our government clients is looking for a Sales Representative – $23 per hour, ON-SITE
Length: contract term is 8 months with a high chance of extension
Location: Toronto, ON – Onsite
Hours: Shift Work either 7:45am – 4:00pm shift or 10:00am – 6:15pm. Must work Saturdays – 9am to 3pm

GROUP/PROJECT INFO:

• Assisting customers as they shop for new products or services
• Making product suggestions according to the wants and needs of customers
• Locating prospective customers, generating them into leads, and eventually converting them to customers
• Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas
• Using strong research skills and deep product or industry knowledge to answer any questions about the product Working with other employees to develop effective strategies to meet sales targets
• Creating awareness and promoting special offers and loyalty programs
• Managing client relationships through all the stages of the sales cycle
• Ensuring that customers are fully satisfied with the services offered

MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

• Excellent Communication Skills
• Critical and analytical thinking to provide logical answers to customers’ questions
• Empathy to understand customers’ needs
• Knowledge of the current trends in the consumer goods sector
• Understanding of basic mathematics to measure products, prepare invoices, and analyze sales data
• Familiarity with digital technology and its applications in sales
• Knowledge of management, finance, and business
• Experience working under pressure

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE

• 2-5 years of experience in a customer service environment
