Director, Demand Generation
Demand generation is a key part of our success; without expanding our network of customers, we limit our positive impact. In this diverse and challenging role, you’ll oversee marketing operations and make a direct impact on our sales pipeline.
Managing a small but expanding group of Business Development Representatives, you’ll design, optimize, and implement campaigns that have measurable success in generating leads and driving revenue.
This will be a data-driven role; unlike positions that focus on brand management, your work will achieve success relative to key performance metrics. As a public company, one of our top priorities is to demonstrate a correlation between investment and expansion. Your work will help us build our sales capacity by attracting, nurturing, and passing leads to our sales team.
Most importantly, you’ll build a scalable, repeatable program by which we can generate interest across various customer groups. We all know that every customer is different—you’ll create strategies and marketing tools that are impactful in any sales environment.
More specifically, you will:
- Develop and execute integrated demand generation campaigns from conception through to creative development, deployment, measurement, and optimization
- Manage the demand generation funnel to generate new B2B revenue and increase pipeline velocity through integrated multi-channel campaigns across email, content, social, paid media, search and events
- Recruit, lead and develop a team of BDRs, applying best practices to achieve targets for pipeline generation and BDR sourced opportunities including determining playbooks, handoff processes, and appropriate KPIs and tracking.
- Coordinate closely with the Business Development team on BDR alignment and team performance to ensure program execution is achieving desired results
- Roll up your sleeves to develop and deploy engaging content, communications, and sales collateral to drive demand and interest across the entire buyer’s journey from lead to revenue
- Be a master at analytics tracking and reporting to demonstrate how inbound marketing programs convert into customers and revenue
- Collaborate with sales to build out the next evolution of account-based marketing campaigns for strategic accounts, and sales enablement tools and pitch collateral to support the entire buying journey
- Be a steward of the brand, ensuring all marketing communications and activities align to brand position, voice and standards
- Support annual and quarterly campaign strategy and planning, and own parts of the operations and execution including set up of landing pages, emails, smart list creation, automation program development, test and launch of campaigns
The best in this role will combine creativity with a strong background in analytics and a passion for leadership. Our marketing strategy uses our sales team as an essential component. Success will mean using that team and their resources effectively in campaigns.
You take initiative, lead by example, and know when to roll up your sleeves and get busy; you never let overthinking get in the way of getting things done.
