Job description: Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Team Lead, this position provides front-line support to Information Technology (IT) employees and managers to apply and understand AHS payroll practices in a mixed union/non-union environment. This position also ensures timely and accurate time reporting in ePeople for all IT employees (approximately 2,500 staff). Working with minimal guidance and applying an in-depth understanding of Collective Agreements and Terms & Conditions of Employment, this position is the first point of contact for IT issues related to ePeople timekeeping. In addition, this position also supports the IT department’s use of the AHS PPM tool by providing access to the system, assigning security rights, maintaining data, participating in testing and upgrades, and providing reporting to various stakeholders. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is necessary, along with a detailed understanding of Collective Agreements and Terms & Conditions, technical aptitude for application support, ability to problem solve and think critically, as well as possessing excellent communication skills, especially in written form. Identifies and works to resolve difficult issues and trends affecting IT. Completes timely and accurate entry of payroll data in ePeople for all IT staff (approximately 2,500) in accordance with Collective Agreements and Terms & Conditions of Employment, and adhering to stated payroll deadlines. Manages and updates data across multiple systems (AHS PPM and ePeople). Collects, validates, and performs calculations on data from multiple sources to produce reports. Works with the IT Corporate Services Administrative Systems team to provide access to the AHS PPM tool. Maintains and updates resource record data in AHS PPM.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields. Additional Required Qualifications:

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is necessary, along with a detailed understanding of Collective Agreements and Terms & Conditions, technical aptitude for application support, ability to problem solve and think critically, as well as possessing excellent communication skills, especially in written form. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a computerized payroll setting. Experience with Clarity PPM (AHS PPM).
