As an Analyst – Corporate Finance, you will set up financings, analyze and follow up on legal documentation, financial commitments and securities, in accordance with industry policies and practices. You carry out activities related to compliance and monitoring of changes in financing conditions.
More specifically, the incumbent is the direct support to the account managers in the management of financings. You will monitor large corporate loan portfolios in roles such as syndication agent, syndication participant or direct file.
General Information on the Position
Main responsabilities
Implement new financing and changes to existing financing, and follow up on credit authorizations to be implemented
Check legal documentation received and required under credit authorizations and identify irregularities. Recommend relevant corrections for approval by various decision-making levels within the organization
Follow up with the partners involved to see whether they have received the financial documents needed for each file
Submit operational and monetary overruns for approval according to the delegation of authority set out in the credit policy in effect within the organization
Perform a variety of calculations and administrative operations for unit activities and populate the IT system accordingly
Make sure financial commitments are met and legal documentation is compliant before any loan disbursements are made, and draft operational instructions for loan authorizations
Draft information reports on late financial documentation or irregularities pursuant to agreements with clients, and submit them to the parties involved
Share technical knowledge and information specific to client files to ensure that the team is multi-skilled.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Expert knowledge of commercial financing products and services
Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
