Your primary responsibilities will include:
Under the supervision of partners and management personnel:

  • Fill an important role in the completion of assurance engagements for a variety of clients
  • Participate in consulting engagements or special assignments and identify client service opportunities
  • Supervise, develop and lead junior staff
  • Complete corporate and personal income tax returns
  • Communicate directly with clients

A successful candidate will have:

  • Previous public accounting experience with an assurance focus
  • A solid foundation of accounting and assurance education
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with individuals at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and develop
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting
  • Experience with Caseware, Profile, Sage 300 (ACCPAC), Sage 50 (Simply Accounting) and QuickBooks is valued
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly MS Excel
