The AVP & Information Security Officer is tasked with the determination and implementation of all necessary processes and procedures to establish a ‘living’ companywide information / cyber security risk assessment capability first at ivari and then into then across the other corporate entities of the Wilton Re Group.

In this role, you will design, develop and implement the needed processes and procedures to:

  • Identify and create a complete inventory the crown jewels, the business lines and processes they support, their location and current primary uses
  • Identify, assess, size and prioritize significant information/cyber security risks currently facing the crown jewels of ivari and forward looking to the next 1-3 years.
  • Work with the business leadership to assess and document the acceptable risk appetite & tolerance for each crown jewel and/or key business process
  • Identify, assess, and recommend the relevant risk treatment option to the Executive including the positive impact to risk exposure
  • Log, track and track the implementation of the approved risk treatment option
  • Design, develop, and facilitate the implementation of a comprehensive IT risk & vulnerability management program, in collaboration with the Business & Project Owner(s) and Project Steering Committee (PSC)
  • Identify, size, prioritize and develop appropriate techniques to monitor emerging or potentially emerging information/cyber security risks to ivari within a 3–5-year time horizon

The AVP & Information Security Officer not only has the technical expertise with the breadth and depth of knowledge to design, develop and implement the processes, but also has strong relationship building and influencing skills to drive the programs across the Wilton Re group.   • The ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily understood, authoritative, and actionable manner
  • 10+ years

information technology related experience to include demonstrable: * IT architectural knowledge of both on-premise and cloud environments

  • Strong information/cyber security technical knowledge including the leading information/cyber security frameworks from organizations such NIST or the ISO
  • Executive management exposure and interaction
  • An ability to cultivate and build collaborative working relationships with a broad range of enterprise stakeholders
  • Able to keep abreast with evolving threats/risks, industry trends and works to implement best practices in the organization
  • Proven capability for identifying, analyzing, and influencing the management of information risks across organizations
  • Diploma or university degree in a relevant area of study is an asset
  • CRISC, CISM, CISA, and CISSP are assets
