Job description: Position Summary
The Bell/ Summer Amenity Attendant is the first point of contact for guests as they enter the hotel, and in helping with luggage upon departure, can also be the last. The Attendant is responsible for ensuring that the highest levels of customer service and standards are achieved. They are responsible for welcoming guests to the hotel, assisting with luggage, and assisting with the use of bicycles, canoes, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards as the season dictates. With a professional and friendly demeanor, the Bell / Summer Amenity Attendant, delivers authentic moments and service to our guests.

Job Duties

  • Be an ambassador of Nita Lake Lodge and Whistler
  • Assist guests with canoes, kayaks and paddleboards
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • Store and retrieve luggage
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures
  • Property upkeep (e.g. watering plants if need be, tidying front entrances)
  • Ensuring bicycles are clean and secured properly
  • Set up and take down show rooms and deliver amenities
  • Training of new team members
  • Other related duties as assigned by the Front Office leadership team Job Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Ideal candidate will have prior hospitality experience
  • Ability to lift and pull recreational amenities, ranging up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to transfer luggage from vehicle trunks to bell carts and to guest rooms, ranging up to 40lbs
  • General knowledge of Whistler an asset
