Salary: 110,000-130,000 DOE, + bonus, benefits and relocation expenses covered
Location: Mont Tremblant Quebec
NOTE: Must be a Canadian Resident or be able to work in Canada without visa assistance*
As Executive Chef you will lead a team of culinary professionals with creative culinary direction to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. If you have vast high-volume experience in a luxury hotel setting and are ready to join an amazing team, then this if for you!
The Role:
- Oversee the daily operations of Kitchen departments including scheduling, performance management and employee training and development.
- Develop and prepare menus suitable to each area of Food & Beverage
- Hire and train new team members
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all supporting departments.
- Control all food inventories while maintaining food cost targets within the budgeted guidelines
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Participate in media and community opportunities to showcase food and beverage products
The Person:
- A minimum of 3 years previous Executive Sous Chef experience required
- Experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel or restaurant or similar standard is a MUST
- Experience with all aspects of administration including budget and forecasting, food costing, schedules, menu design and labor cost
- Highly motivated to inspire leading edge culinary experiences
- Proven leadership ability that demonstrates an environment of inter-departmental teamwork employee growth and development, and exceptional guest service
- Must be focused on health and safety while involved in enhancing workplace wellness
