The Composite Production Systems business unit offers several types of corrosion-resistant, flexible composite linepipes for different applications based on our customers’ needs. In fact, our composite linepipe has a service life of 20 years, with no need for expensive maintenance and long-term chemical inhibitor programs.

Position: Business Systems Analyst Location: Edmonton or Calgary, Alberta
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Manufacturing Controller the ERP Systems Specialist primary goal is to ensure the ERP software (IFS) runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible and to develop and oversee solutions for any shortcomings. The incumbent is thoroughly knowledgeable about all aspects of the ERP systems software (IFS) and related database schema, and will design, develop, test, deploy and maintain data processing solutions to enhance the ERP landscape. The ERP Systems Specialist has an entrepreneurial mindset, ready to challenge the status quo, bringing forth opportunities to leverage ERP initiatives to optimize the business and influence decisions regarding business process changes.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide services for implementation of ERP systems. Architect and implement integrations
- between core systems.
- Proactively examine current system to pinpoint strengths, manage risks and identify
- weaknesses
- Technical support and upgrades. Provide support in performing day-to-day maintenance,
- installing new upgrades and testing. System configuration and data migration will be part
- of the responsibilities as well
- Analyze and troubleshoot ERP system issues reported by end users
- Look for optimization opportunities as it relates to the IT infrastructure and ERP system
- Provide user training and support for employees
- Provide a customer service/consultant type role in meeting directly with internal users to
- find out their ERP related needs in relation to the business processes.
- Responsible for data collection, processing, organizing raw data and reporting from the IFS and manufacturing processes into meaningful information to support decision making and improving operation systems User Training and Support
- Interact, collaborate, share experiences, coach, and mentor employees to achieve “next level”
- Provide guidance and leadership to other team members
- Effectively communicate with IT developers and external vendors
- Participate in continuing professional development by attending workshops, seminars,
- and conferences to obtain and maintain knowledge and skills related to the work

Required Qualifications
- Post-Secondary education, preferably in Management Information Systems, Computer science or related field
- Must be highly organized and have ability to skillfully manage many team members, stakeholders, and executive
sponsors
- Expert in ERP system implementation and software support
- Demonstrated ability to lead interdisciplinary team to achieve measurable results in a positive, collaborative, and fun environment
- Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision making and organization
- Possess strong team player/leadership skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking skills
- Strong ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Strong independent work ethic
- Consensus builder/results oriented
- Skills in facilitating meetings, events, and trainings
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite. Knowledge of reporting software like Tableau, Power BI is an asset
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of SQL and other server-side languages
