The successful candidates will use their strong technical skills on a variety of design projects. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist in the production of engineering designs and drawings that meet all client and approval agency requirements and standards
• Transform preliminary concepts and sketches into engineering designs and drawings using primarily AutoCAD Civil 3D, as well as other technical software as needed
• Coordinate the preparation of documents required for approvals, prepare development and construction cost estimates and tender documents and contracts
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure schedules, budgets and quality control standards are achieved
• Identify field and design issues and facilitate corrective measures
• Liaise with contractor, client and affected stakeholders during construction operations

What You’ll Bring:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Drafting Technology
• Ability to register as an AScT, or other technical accreditation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software is essential
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills (verbal & written); ability to produce accurate field notes
• Ability to work independently and also within a busy and high-performing team
• An interest in municipal infrastructure and water and wastewater treatment systems
