Job title: Clinical Logistics Coordinator/Assembler

Job description: Adecco is currently hiring for a Clinical Logistics Coordinator for our Medical Manufacturing client in Ottawa West. This is a 1year contract opportunity offering full time hours, Monday – Friday. This position will provide clinical operational support to clinical studies and projects. Interact with other departments and external suppliers and provide logistical support to clinical research teams. The salary for this position will be determined based on education and experience.

Responsibilities: * Coordinate and prep orders of clinical supplies, instruments and specimens to sites for clinical studies: Preparation of shipping documents and liaison with shipping department to coordinate shipments of all clinical materials.

  • Conducts assigned Clinical operations activities in accordance with applicable regulations, GCP, policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate procurement of clinical supplies as part of study planning and to provide for ongoing studies.
  • Plan and manage inventory of clinical supplies and ensure that required supplies and materials are consistently maintained.
  • Follow up to ensure that supplies, instruments, etc. are received on-time and in good condition. Address any problems that arise in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with other departments (e.g. Facilities, R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, etc.) to support Clinical Operations activities.
  • Understand and comply with all application EHS policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality system.
  • Miscellaneous other duties may be required.

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to quickly gain knowledge (fast learner)
  • Problem solving and trouble-shooting skills

Education and Required Experience: * Degree required – preferably Science, Business Administration or Supply Chain.

  • Experience prepping and assembling medical supply kits would be an asset
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office
