This position will report to the Instrumentation Supervisor. It is located in Lanigan, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.
This is a co-op student position which begins in May 2022 and will last approximately 4 months and is open to current students enrolled in an Instrumentation Engineering Technology Program.
What you will do:
- Perform project work including cable tray installation, pulling cables, installation of DeltaV CHARM Cabinets, installation of instruments, termination of wiring in cabinets and instruments, configuration and calibration of instruments
- Update drawings and P&IDs
- Perform PMs of instruments and equipment
What you will bring:
- Must be currently enrolled and completed at least 1 year in an Instrumentation Engineering Technology program at an accredited post-secondary institution AND returning to full-time studies after the work term.
- Demonstrated positive safety behaviour and safety leadership
- Willingness to learn and gain knowledge and experience through training
- Excellent interpersonal teamwork and communication skills
- Motivation to set and achieve goals, take initiative, and nurture projects forward
- Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities
- Alignment with Nutrien’s
and values * Preference will be given to candidates with mining or heavy industrial experience
