This position will report to the Instrumentation Supervisor. It is located in Lanigan, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.

This is a co-op student position which begins in May 2022 and will last approximately 4 months and is open to current students enrolled in an Instrumentation Engineering Technology Program.

What you will do:

  • Perform project work including cable tray installation, pulling cables, installation of DeltaV CHARM Cabinets, installation of instruments, termination of wiring in cabinets and instruments, configuration and calibration of instruments
  • Update drawings and P&IDs
  • Perform PMs of instruments and equipment

What you will bring:

  • Must be currently enrolled and completed at least 1 year in an Instrumentation Engineering Technology program at an accredited post-secondary institution AND returning to full-time studies after the work term.
  • Demonstrated positive safety behaviour and safety leadership
  • Willingness to learn and gain knowledge and experience through training
  • Excellent interpersonal teamwork and communication skills
  • Motivation to set and achieve goals, take initiative, and nurture projects forward
  • Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities
  • Alignment with Nutrien’s
