What & Why:
As a result of investment in Supply Chain, our global client is looking to add their first permanent Demand Planner to their team. This is a great opportunity to make a big impact on the business operations of a global electronics manufacturer. You will be responsible for developing, owning, and implementing the demand planning process for their products. You will be balancing the demand trends, the sales forecast, sales target, and taking into account the product lifecycle to develop a demand plan. This role requires a highly motivated individual to provide high quality analysis and insights. You should have strong analytical and interpersonal skills and have a data and financial modelling background and be comfortable working autonomously with stakeholders around the world.

Our client is a successful, publicly listed technology company headquartered in Richmond with over 20 years’ history of innovation, around 1000 employees and 15 global office. They are at the bleeding edge of technology and have a great corporate culture. If you are looking for a stable organization working at the edge of technology this is a great fit. This role can be fully remote or can work out of their Richmond BC office.
You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- 5+ years of demand planning experience, product forecasting experience or supply chain experience required, ideally in an electronics manufacturing organization
- Knowledge of working with excel and large amounts of data, along with familiarity working with ERP systems
- Experience or exposure to the Sales and Operations Planning process
- Experience working with forecasting or demand planning software
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or a related field
