There isn’t a rigid job description for our employees and every day is different. But here are a few of the primary tasks you can look forward to while working from our office in Mt. Pleasant:

• Assisting with the management of our paid creative calendar (for example: organizing assets, managing campaigns, coordinating with other project managers, etc.)
• Managing our PPC and Facebook split testing system and reporting on split tests
• Helping gather and deliver account data and market research for project proposals
• Coordinating projects within the paid department
• Monitoring and reporting on key metrics using analytics tools like Google Analytics & Google Search Console to assess how well the company (and your own ad copy) is performing, as well as to pinpoint any potential opportunities for improvement
• Building and maintaining creative reports and helping gather data to present to the team
• Assisting with minor media buying tasks (like uploading ads in the accounts)

Where do you fit in AlgaeCal’s Marketing Team?

You will start out assisting in an area where the company has a need – and in time we will see where your interests and aptitudes intersect with our open opportunities.

At the moment our greatest need is for a marketer to work with our team to support and grow our paid social and search engine advertisement channels. This means you will be in the accounts several times a day scaling up what is working and cutting spend on what is not. This requires an aptitude for numbers, data, and their practical application to our business.

You will also need to understand the human side behind those numbers. For example, you need to figure out why the prospect is dropping out of our sales funnel at this point, or why they are buying more from this ad versus another. You will be coached and supported by our Paid Marketing Manager who has a proven record of success in several paid platforms including Facebook, Google Ads and Amazon. This promises to be an exciting and challenging role!
