Our client is a full-service law firm based in Vancouver, serving clients in Canada and abroad. They provide services in the dispute resolution, business, and litigation fields. They’ve been operating for the past 50 years and are looking to add a Digital Marketing & Communications Assistant to their team!

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Digital Marketing & Communications Assistant works closely with the small, tight-knit Marketing & Business Development team. This team is responsible for all the marketing, business development, and communications efforts of the firm.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As the Digital Marketing & Communications Assistant, you’ll report directly to the Marketing Director in a team of 4. Your responsibilities include:

• Manage communications requests from other departments in the firm
• Create content for and update the social media accounts and website
• Collaborate with a graphic designer and any external vendors to handle advertising and SEO
• Handle any marketing strategies for practice groups, projects, and lawyers
• Provide writing support in terms of speeches and public relations
• Ad hoc support for any marketing or communications projects

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communications, with a passion for writing and creating content
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience with Google Analytics and SEO is an asset
• Able to attend work in-office everyday from 9 AM to 5 PM

COMPENSATION

• $52,000 a year, depending on experience
