Job description: We are looking for a Director of Sales for our luxury hotel in Nova Scotia who brings an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, polished personality and a balance of elevated independent lifestyle hotel experience.

Hotel Director of Sales Qualifications:

A proven self-starter

Ability to develop and execute all requisite strategic plans forecasting and reporting

Ability to recruit, Interview, hire, train, retain and develop an exceptional team

Able to embrace change, pivot effectively, and direct sales staff.

Proven ability to achieve both sales goals and brand positioning.

Expert knowledge of hotel industry trends and market factors and provide guidance

Lead presentations and events

Bachelor s degree preferred

5+ years of comparable sales leadership

Proficiency and fluency with property management systems

A clear understanding of core accounting, and budgetary analysis

Proven hands-on/shoulder-to-shoulder approach to team sales operations.

Proven high-level, relational selling skills, revenue management, recruitment,

Able to prove solid supervisory, training, and motivating skills.

Hotel Director of Sales Benefits:

Competitive base salary of between $90- $110K (Canadian) + 30% bonus potential

Relocation package as required with Canadian visa sponsorship
