Director, Online Admissions (Sales Director)

Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Salary: $75,000 – $90,000/year + Benefits

What is the job?
- Successfully lead, train and develop a team of 50+ individuals (admissions staff) at the campus and ensure their professional and personal development.
- Responsible for implementation and coordination of strategies, information, and procedures necessary for the admission team to perform their jobs efficiently.
- Understanding industry best practices and takes initiative to implement new strategies where necessary.
- Set expectations for admission team by providing coaching and counseling, communicating performance metric expectations, and administering disciplinary action when necessary.
- Present a professional, polished, and positive image both internally and externally.
- Communicate effectively in person, via phone and through written means (such as email, text, etc.)
- Responsible for statistical analysis and strategic planning on attaining monthly and annual sales goals and targets established.
- Communicate with internal leadership on regularly scheduled project status calls.
- Manage complex daily activities including maintaining records to contribute to the administrative function of the campus.
- Other related duties as assigned.
What do you bring to the job?
- Degree or diploma in Sales, Advertising or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years sales experience preferred.
- Proven sales performance history.
- Proven success in mentorship, training, or management.
- Ability to inspire, support and lead team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to plan and prioritize tasks and to make sure pressing matters are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with all individuals (staff, students, colleagues, etc.) with integrity, empathy and sincerity.
- Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- A motivated self-starter and innovative problem-solver.
- Willingness to learn industry best practices and processes.
- Must be deadline driven and goal-oriented.
- A positive attitude and customer focused approach.
- Ability to act with tact, good judgment, and discretion.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Able to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities.
- Must be able to work in an environment where the noise level is moderate.
