Reports to the Senior Director, Nitrogen & Phosphate Finance.
What you will do:
- Oversee forecasting, planning and strategic analysis for the Transportation, Distribution and Logistics department
- Play a key role in providing financial analysis and insights that inform strategic decisions around the utilization of Nutrien’s TD&L assets
- Provide financial analysis to support TD&L optimization projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead the annual budget process for the TD&L department
- Deliver comprehensive cost-to-serve analysis and forecasting for all areas of TD&L
- Work with internal stakeholders to efficiently manage distribution throughput rates
- Collaborate with FP&A teams to ensure TD&L factors are incorporated into Business Unit financial forecasts
- Collaborate with COE and FBS functions to enhance TD&L management reporting
What you will bring:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent practical experience
- A minimum of 10-15 years of professional experience – of which a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity
- Ability to deliver value through a collaborative approach, focus on continuous improvement and deep understanding of the key financial drivers of our business
- Experience in identifying opportunities for improving operational and financial performance while ensuring quality and integrity of the financial functions of the operations
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate and prioritize several concurrent projects
- Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills that facilitate a positive and effective team environment
- Proven ability to rapidly respond to challenges that impact team performance
- Experience in a TD&L related role would be an asset
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range $120,400 – $155,000 annually. This range is estimated for Director, TD&L Finance in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
